Default Duo: Druid/Wiz vs Druid/Chanter

Coming back after long break. My friend rolled a druid. I know it doesn't really matter what we play, and we won't be leveling fast or anything. For levels 1 to 40 ish, any thoughts the better combo? I know either would be rough with no tank, we are ok with that. Thanks in advance!

Also, druid/chanter will not be "rough without a tank" it will actually be an amazing duo! You can single pull anything, fear kite, teleport + sow + track to find new victims, charm + heal, snare the pets for safety, clarity for the druid is super sweet bananas, etc. The only thing you might lack is some dps, but not even.

Druid/Wizard is nowhere near. It will kinda work anyway, probably root rot plus double DD finish, but druid/ench is at least 20 times better [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Key will be leveling somewhere you can both utilize charm and also getting comfortable with charming if you are not used to it
And don't forget, as a druid if you kill a shaman NPC you can then charm it's pet!

Not the best pet, but better than nothing in zones with no other animals.

Much appreciate all your advice, everyone. I've rolled a Chanter, and we'll see how it goes! Names Vespired if anyone wants to look me up. I'm on whatever that regular highly populated p99 server.

As an old Enchanter main, I can tell you that Druid was my dream duo partner. So much synergy.

More like the same speed as quad kiting alone, since you're sharing half the exp and both will be medding all the time just the same.
