Found a lot of conflicting information and obscure timelines on both Draco and Maestro, probably best to just leave it as is.

Edit: It was pointed out that I had the SoV release date wrong, most of this post is irrelevant.

At this point in the server time line it seems that Maestro should be spawning a small hand on death that respawns every 12 hours. I'm confused because theres also mention of demi bosses, and talks of a revamp before Velious.

We killed the Maestro of Rancor today and estimate his new level after patch to be 56 or 57. After he was killed a miniture hand spawned out of the corpse called Hand of Maestro. It conned green to me at 51 and was easily killed. The Maestro dropped two Six Note Blades and the Hand of Maestro dropped...well...the Hand of Maestro [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Maestro of Rancor is now fairly hard to kill and is not nearly as easy as the previous version of himself. Needless to say, most of us on the raid were dissappointed that he only dropped two Six Note Blades, but what can you do? [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

The "Hand of the Maestro" drops the hand, at least he has every single time we have killed him up there. Also fair warning he has been changed and is no longer a weak 40th level anymore. He is around 52-55th now and he runs at about 40% and is very resistant. We were unpleasently surprised with that last night at the tail end of the Maestro fight when he turns tail and runs at 40% making things very unpleasent.

You're right, I thought I copy pasted that like I do everything. I'll just add a little comment to the top of my post saying to not bother reading the wall of text.

It still seems like the change was made from a 12h respawn to a 3 day, and that the 12 hour respawn on the hand was to accomodate the longer spawn on Maestro.

There is decent evidence that maestro should be 12 hours until Hateplane upgrade, I'll discuss it with the other devs.

Using the same links lists dracholiche as a 1 week spawn until Fearplane is updated, so I did a bit more research on that:

Here's more evidence he should be a much quicker spawn. They never mention *IF* maestro is up, just if you decide to go for him.
