Raster of Guk
There is a slight issue with the Raster of Guk spawn rate.
Currently: Raster/PH respawns at 10am even if no PH was left to despawn at 8am. How it should be: Raster/PH should not respawn at 10am if his placeholder was killed. And instead, spawn at the 28 minute normal respawn rate from the last PH kill. These sources dont really say that you need to leave up the PH and let him despawn + respawn. There’s just no reason to kill the 5am spawn if its not Raster since it will despawn so soon after and not yield more spawns. The second quote is prob just talking about the normal respawn rate versus waiting an entite EQ day for despawn + repop.

Best comment I found: "If PH is up when 8am gametime comes around, the PH will despawn. 1-2 game hours later, he respawns giving first spawn within an hour. Kill this if not raster, 30 min later around 7-8pm gametime you get another spawn. So that makes 2 spawns so far since the first at 10am. Come 5am, roughly 30 min from last kill (still not despawn time), another PH (3rd within an hour) will spawn. If it's not Raster just let this one despawn, else the process will not work.
So, not certain at all if letting PH despawn prevents a Raster spawn sooner, or if just killing everything that pops helps in any way. All you know for sure is with the despawn method, you get 3 spawns in an hour instead of 2, and given that your chances seem a little better. Suffering through Raster is an important milestone for monks as it shows how ridiculous EQ quests can be. I think it took me 20 hours at Raster
