Turning off Velious armor graphics?

It most definitely was classic. I hardly played past velious, but had these textures turned off somehow in live. I'd love to hear a reasoning for the devs preventing this though. Not like we are trying to enable luclin models here...

I don't like the majority of the Velious helmets, always thought they were done by some trainee artist who was given too much creative license and not enough direction... the armor for the most part is very nice though.

Would armor textures stop me playing a classic MMORPG? No sir.

Forcing Velious armor textures is definitely not classic. I remember always having the option to turn them off. You could keep the custom velious helm designs on and have the velious armor textures off.

So, is it normal to have all armors ( bronze, plate, planar ect ) looks with velious textures ?

Planar armor (from Fear/Hate, not PoG) does not have velious textures, I've seen it myself in-game.
