I heartily do not recommend. This puppy barely runs on normal macs let alone M1 macs. No personal experience. Talking out of my butt. I have not tried an M1 mac with this game.

Wine is adding support for M1 Macs but as far as I understand it, the latest versions no longer support 32bit binaries.

Your best bet is gonna be a cheap Intel PC running Windows.

M1 is an ARM chip. Completely different system architecture. If it runs in WINE, it'll have to translate everything and it'll be slow as hell. Don't expect it to work, and it looks like as Nyclin said - 64 bit .exes only, which does not include EverQuest P99.

I have the m1 on a macbook pro. I tried parallels and it didnt work, no luck with wine either. I wouldn't expect it to run. A lucky few have gotten it to work through parallels.

Thanks a ton. The thread in general is so long and evolving, that I never find anything in it.
