Default Meditate Macro?

Is there a hotkey/macro for sit and meditate? I am far to lazy to be hitting 2 buttons every time I need to med.

Thanks

A /meditate macro command does not exist for the Green client. Please enjoy your selectively 'classic' experience to the fullest.

Yeah. I wouldn’t be able to play a caster for this reason currently. I know it sounds small, but I have almost everything bound to hotkeys and not being able to hit a hotkey to trigger med would be awful.

I can speak on the UI perspective. I don’t know if the Titanium Client has any concept of a meditate button as it was never really part of that era. It is the same reason the /meditate text command doesn’t have any function. So even if classic you could press and hold the meditate key to make a hot button, that clearly can’t be supported here since the meditate key is just a custom P1999 thing.

Personally I would like to have seen it maintain the button state somehow.

Maybe I'm wrong (it's been awhile) but that's how I remember it in classic. All you had to do is open the book and the button would already be pressed.

I thought it stayed pressed in beta but I didn't play beta a ton and just made many lowbies. It definitely used to work that way during Kunark at least, I didn't play in vanilla back in era.

That would make all the difference. You can bind spellbook open to any key, but you currently have to click the damn button everytime. I suppose we could say this substitutes for the inconvenience of the fullscreen book, but that would be a stretch.

When did it change to be that you only need to sit to med?

Maybe its just me, I mentioned this in another thread, But i could have SWORE that the meditate button could be dropped on your hotbar... And clicking it would automatically open spellbook and meditate
