Ancient croc

I remember back in 1999, camping the ancient croc in Guk. I swear it was for the journeymans boots. Is that right, or am I remembering it wrong?

As I remember, it dropped from the lady in Najena and the line for the camp was backed up to the Lava zone line*. Afterwards, they changed the whole set up to the Hasten quest.

* This was on the server I played on, Tarew Marr.

Well, it's been several decades, so I wasn't sure. I do remember camping that croc in guk for something for my necro... time to wipe the dust off of some tomes and do some research!

Croc is for gatorscale sleeves. Najena, in Najena naturally, was the original Jboot camp, turned into the Hasten quest to kick all the high levels out of that lowbie zone.

You have a bit of wires crossed as well. Drelzna in Najena dropped Jboots.

Well, I am just excited to be doing all of it again!! I just can't wait to be able to do Guk again. Very happy to be back in EQ, and even better adventuring with my son who wasn't born when I last quit playing!

Hope you don’t plan on camping this on blue or green . There is a 35 man poopsock line .
