Hard is the life of an Ogre Warrior

Just dinged lvl 7 yesterday with my trusty Ogre, Morgukk. I want to play some more tonight, but soloing as a warrior within the swamp has shown to be a rather hazardous endeavor.

Any low level trolls or ogres willing to group?

I would go to EC. Easier to find groups and even if you don't, you can prolly get some killer buffs at the tunnel. Start killing orcs in order to make some FP faction at the same time.

Thanks for the shout out Webe. Many of us have progressed past the very early levels around 7 and are in the teens/20's/30's but there are still a few very low levels and some are playing alts. Feel free to look me up in game for an invite or more info.

Go to Innothule swamp and kill frogloks outside of Guk and then move into Guk perhaps? Or go to where other people gather for groups at your level such as EC or Crushbone

At 9 or 10 I killed these http://wiki.project1999.com/A_fat_alligator on the island mentioned in the wiki entry. There are quite a few of them so they keep you busy and they drop Alligator Skin for http://wiki.project1999.com/Leatherfoot_Raiders so you can earn some plat if you can find a buyer (I wouldn't really count on it, I only managed to sell 4 to one person of the dozens I looted).

Until then I'd do what Muggens suggested, just watch out for that high level wanderer near the Guk entrance.

Gan, leveling as an Ogre/Troll/Iksar is a bit harder just because of the XP penalty.

Warrior's get a small bonus to help, but you're still at -15% XP.

Red server grants a large XP bonus, if you're looking to level a bit faster.

If you decide to re-roll red, I'll play with you when I'm on and give you a few items to get started.

Be careful killing crushbone orcs, they are allied to the dark elf warrior guild.
