There are two points that will force the GOP to move to the left.

1. Fair (as much as could be argued to be fair) electoral districts in the House.
2. Laws that make it easier for American Citizens to vote.

The former is obvious if you look at house congressional maps in the south, Gerrymandered to kingdom cum.

The latter is clear as day from the last election. With barely any voting fraud, most actual fraud being from the right, the ease of mail-in voting allowed for around a 20% boost to voting nationwide, which lead to an increase in leftist votes.

30% of the country controls nearly 50% of the senate. Republicans need to read the writing on the wall and start re-adjusting their platform to being pro-worker, pro-wage, else they will get trounced for the next 20 years.

Wishful thinking at its finest. Voting accessibility here is as easy as creamsauce. Two to three weeks before any election ballots are mailed to every registered voter.

Registering to vote here can't be made easier. For those curious here's a good start. HINT: It takes about 10 minutes to click through the online registration. Even for people that don't have their own computer we have libraries all over the dam place. Even if you can't do online the other options are extremely easy. https://www.sos.wa.gov/elections/register.aspx

So once a person has their ballot it's easy to fill out. Everybody also gets a voters pamphlet. If somebody doesn't get one they are available at any gov't office including libraries, city halls, police stations, post offices and the like.

So now that the ballot is filled out at your leisure stick it in the provided envelop and either drop it off at any mailbox or ballot drop box. No postage necessary from any mailbox.

Despite the ease of our election process here in Washington we still barely get 85% voter turn-out; lowest turn-out were in red counties.

Doesn't matter because it isn't a choice.

We have to start by being willing to vote for losers. So democrats vote green and republicans vote libertarian and start from there. As the votes stop coming in for the democrats and republicans they will get the picture.

The fearmongering is part of encouraging people to vote strategically "I wouldn't vote for biden, but my God if trump won because of my non strategic vote, I would really kick myself"

Just gotta let that go and don't take the piece of shit vs giant douche option they try to force on you.

We could literally let anyone call them selves president vote for whoever we wanted as long as 70% of us just didn't do or follow the orders of whatever idiot got elected for dumb reasons.

We would ultimately win then.

But we couldn't rely on the police or military for a decade. We shouldn't be really relying on them now either.

I'm totally willing to take one for the team if Gustoo's kids can walk freely and proudly one day. Idk how to convince others, but I'm working on it.

Sorry for being an angry dumb partisan for the last decade.

Washington has one of the best voting systems in the US. 85% participation is pretty fucking amazing, and it just proves my point. Low turn out counties go red you say? wonder why [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
