I'm thankful for Gwaihir's unhinged rants on this beautiful Thanksgiving morning.
What Thanksgiving?

WHO are you giving thanks to?

It's surely not God.

Not country.

You're spitting in the face of your ancestors.

Thanksgiving, indeed
"Science" doesn't need your "thanks"; it's incapable of eve acknowledging it.

The aztecs deserved to be exterminated. They literally practiced cannibalism over any tribe they came across.

The Mayans performed live human sacrifice.

They weren't some fucking noble tribe of peace loving people. You're fucking stupid as shit.
Indeed, the Aztecs' bloodthirsty nature was the very reason why all it took was a couple hundred Spaniards to start their downfall: Everyone else in the region already hated the Aztec's guts and it proved trivial for the Spaniards to enlist hordes of native allies. The Tlaxcalans were particularly effective as allies to the Spanish and were accordingly treated well.

The Mayans had a much older (but no less bloodthirsty) culture that was already fractured and declining by the time the Spanish arrived. They had been in effect reduced to a series of squabbling city-states. In truth they did not fare too badly and there are today still millions of Mayan-descended people living in southern Mexico.

I have to wonder how far the meso-americans might have gone if they had ever found decent deposits of iron or tamed suitable draft animals. They went about as far as stone age technology could go.

You seem to be making the mistake of not accepting the Bible as a Fairy Tale.
The bible is not a fairy tale.

If it is anything else, it is instruction on how to govern and be a citizen in the Jewish culture.

The tora is exactly that too, its a constitution, a book of LAWS. They wrote the tora to govern judeah, and when they were sacked and forced into slavery they used it to maintain their culture while being spread out through the entire north African and Mesopotamian regions by Babylon's and Egyptians and romans and Greeks and Assyrians. They lost everything. Including their home land.

...But for 4000 years, unlike any culture that has ever existed ever, they have remained a single Jewish culture, true to their heritage, so much so that 2800 years after their capital of their homeland was destroyed, they got it back in 2017.

The Bible/Tora is powerful, because it is REAL. Most of it is about reality, how to behave socially, how to farm, how to save money, how to build a home, very little of it is about Jesus. Veeeeeeeeeeery little.

The book of revelations is not prophecy, its a historical 1:1 record of the destruction of the temple of Israel in 70 AD and a unification of the 7 leading churches that were spreading Christianity about how to avoid falling into the same pitfalls that previous churches/empires fell because of.

The book of daniel was written 150BC thats 500 years after the events it writes about took place, after the fall of the 4 empires that it "prophecies" about... but if you look the writing, and those 4 empires historically, they were the record of where the jews had been for the last 500 years, what happened to them, and the history of their citizenry, and how they remained Jewish under 500 years of slavery under forced worship of other Pegan gods. It also takes note of how each of those empires fell, and what led to their demise. Its a smart book!

It was a guide that told you, "even if they throw you in furnaces, or fed you to lions, if you stay true to our culture, you will be rewarded in the afterlife." But what it really wants is for you to just be true to the culture, the reward is irrelevant to Jewish culture. Look that up, the afterlife is basically irrelevant to jews, none of them agree on what it is, it hardly speaks of it, just that when you die you will be rewarded with gods love. Thats all it says!

Its honestly the most brilliant book ever written, if you look at it secularly instead of like a 90s ashiest that hates Christianity, assuming its just fairy tale.

Its a GOOD book of how to live life as a GOOD person, that will live to be OLD and WISE with many kids and a happy family. To be full of joy during the worst times of life, to look towards the horizon instead of at the present, to build your self up to be a stronger citizen.

I can understand why people hate it, nobody likes being told who or what to worship. The irony is that is literally the entire ethos of the entire book! That the jews didnt like that either and they wanted to maintain their worship of their own god, when they had no home land or kingdom of their own.

One thing to remember, is jews do not try to conform you to their religion, infact if you ask a jew if you should convernt, they culturally will tell you NO 5 times, until you are finally ready.

They truely are gods children.

If you have a problem with fairy tales in the new testament you should watch this lil documentary, it will get you off big time.

Are you okay? I know your world is coming unglued as your cult falls into shambles but you don't need to take it out on everyone around you. Please, seek professional psychiatric help. There's no sense in avoiding it. It's almost 2021. There's no stigma anymore.

Stealing an election you easily won by 6+ million votes is a really weird interpretation of what happened.

How would they even know, anyways. I specifically explicated one specific parable of the Bible earlier, and their response was that they didn't read the Bible.

Their hatred of Christianity, and Abrahamic religion on the whole, derives from the cognitive dissonance inherent to denying the Truth, Life, and way.

I highly doubt these recalcitrant prices of shit go out of their way to troll Jewish and Islamic discussion had online throughout the world.

They posit themselves as anti-religious, but that's really just code for anti-Christian.

That's how badly spurned they are by the existence of Truth.

It's a poorly written rambling tale about subservience to a petty vengeful god. It's not about living a good life or having a happy family, as we can see in its endorsement of slavery, homophobia and misogyny.

If you want a real story about living old and wise as a good person, I suggest this essay by Bertrand Russell.
https://www3.nd.edu/~afreddos/courses/264/fmw.htm

Particularly these final 3 paragraphs:
"The life of Man, viewed outwardly, is but a small thing in comparison with the forces of Nature. The slave is doomed to worship Time and Fate and Death, because they are greater than anything he finds in himself, and because all his thoughts are of things which they devour. But, great as they are, to think of them greatly, to feel their passionless splendour, is greater still. And such thought makes us free men; we no longer bow before the inevitable in Oriental subjection, but we absorb it, and make it a part of ourselves. To abandon the struggle for private happiness, to expel all eagerness of temporary desire, to burn with passion for eternal things--this is emancipation, and this is the free man's worship. And this liberation is effected by a contemplation of Fate; for Fate itself is subdued by the mind which leaves nothing to be purged by the purifying fire of Time.

United with his fellow-men by the strongest of all ties, the tie of a common doom, the free man finds that a new vision is with him always, shedding over every daily task the light of love. The life of Man is a long march through the night, surrounded by invisible foes, tortured by weariness and pain, towards a goal that few can hope to reach, and where none may tarry long. One by one, as they march, our comrades vanish from our sight, seized by the silent orders of omnipotent Death. Very brief is the time in which we can help them, in which their happiness or misery is decided. Be it ours to shed sunshine on their path, to lighten their sorrows by the balm of sympathy, to give them the pure joy of a never-tiring affection, to strengthen failing courage, to instil faith in hours of despair. Let us not weigh in grudging scales their merits and demerits, but let us think only of their need--of the sorrows, the difficulties, perhaps the blindnesses, that make the misery of their lives; let us remember that they are fellow-sufferers in the same darkness, actors in the same tragedy as ourselves. And so, when their day is over, when their good and their evil have become eternal by the immortality of the past, be it ours to feel that, where they suffered, where they failed, no deed of ours was the cause; but wherever a spark of the divine fire kindled in their hearts, we were ready with encouragement, with sympathy, with brave words in which high courage glowed.

Brief and powerless is Man's life; on him and all his race the slow, sure doom falls pitiless and dark. Blind to good and evil, reckless of destruction, omnipotent matter rolls on its relentless way; for Man, condemned to-day to lose his dearest, to-morrow himself to pass through the gate of darkness, it remains only to cherish, ere yet the blow falls, the lofty thoughts that ennoble his little day; disdaining the coward terrors of the slave of Fate, to worship at the shrine that his own hands have built; undismayed by the empire of chance, to preserve a mind free from the wanton tyranny that rules his outward life; proudly defiant of the irresistible forces that tolerate, for a moment, his knowledge and his condemnation, to sustain alone, a weary but unyielding Atlas, the world that his own ideals have fashioned despite the trampling march of unconscious power."
