The tl;dr is that AC in SRo is non-classic and there are no PHs. So there's nothing you can do, your info was off.

You can camp it in OoT, though.

AC in SRO is terribly not classic. I forget the reasoning behind the custom change to SRO AC. I know a few had seemed to map the PHers and spawned it frequently. What was that EQ dev's name? P-something. He, a few years ago after EQ Live changed SRO AC, divulged how the original spawn worked. Pravon? Ugh... That's not right.

Nilbog: Rewrote South Ro Ancient Cyclops script. He now only spawns at night with definitive spawn % chances. Previously only spawning in one location, the AC now will be random in the desert area.

Jan 2014... Why? Ugh.. That dev that leaked the info was Prathun btw.

There was a dev on the test server frequently who used names like Pwin and Pewin.Sound like he might be the guy.

he has A 10% chance of spawning every time it turns night in sro, so 8pm game time. Apparently, extensive research went into the change and this is how it worked on live originally.
