Default Black screen after hitting launch ini

I recently put together a new PC and am unable to get P1999 EQ working. I took the same files that have worked on about 4 other various PCs and copied them over to the new one. The window pops up with cursor but no graphics other than the mouse show up in the eq window. I've seen several posts about making sure you are in windowed mode and I have confirmed that it launches in windowed mode and also that my eqclient.ini file shows windowedmode=True. The only difference between the other 4 PCs I've run this on and my new one is that its a AMD Ryzen 3000 series processor. Anyone else have any issues running this with a new Ryzen processor?

Edit: Title should have said launch batch not ini.

Make sure it doesn't go faster than 4.2GHz - the EQ client doesn't like CPUs that exceed that.

Delete (or rename) eqclient.ini and it will create a new one when you launch the game.
