the last time i tried to play MTG in 2013 i showed up to a BK meetup with a $23 stompy deck full of commons and went undefeated

this is when i heard about this new fangled commander mode bullshit

the actual problem is that AI card generator shit is actually making better designed cards than wotc is. you don't actually need to pay anyone anything to play magic anymore but people still do for some reason.
