January 23, 2002 Sony Online and NC Soft sign strategic agreement to bring blockbuster hit, EverQuest to Asia. NC Soft localizes and hosts EverQuest in Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

February 12, 2002 EverQuest Legends, a new premium server, launches, allowing a select group of subscribers to experience revolutionary features, rich quests and unique weapons and armors that are not available on any other server. Legends is hosted by a dedicated and exclusive assembly of GM’s.

January 18, 2005 SOE announces a new business model for EverQuest II, called Adventure Packs. Adventure Packs will feature new quests, zones, storylines and story arcs that will allow players to further immerse themselves in the shattered lands of Norrath. All players will have access to certain levels of the Adventure Packs; however in order to complete the content, players will need to purchase the Adventure Packs for a small fee.

Is False, Westwood ( bought out by EA ) had this in Earth and Beyond long before 04.... Game only lasted 2 years thanks to the evil EA Shutting it down in favor of the Sims .......

I remember playing this for like 3-4 days but don't remember anything. I wish I could see what it was like again.
