The real one dropped from a treant in SK, but was removed very shortly after launch

The only thing about the gate potion is that classes without gate could get in some pretty random wtf situations that would pretty much cause corpse rot. I'm guessing the Gms might help out on this one?

Otherwise making them extremely rare sounds right to me.

I don't think it matters if they spawn, they don't drop loot and you can't do their quests without the drops (that you can't get yet) so it doesn't really matter.

I'd say just leave them in to keep it simple. Then when you want to enable the Jboots quest all you have to do is add the AC spawn in OOT and SRO.

Which you can't recharge and they're one use right?
The quest isn't terrible but it's one shot.
