The market has spoken. Sounds like these shawls sell for about 50-100k. Haters gonna hate, fatch.

considering the drops can sell for 100+ that's kind of an important component you're missing.

I must have been killing Seafuries on the poor side of town, mine only dropped 4-5pp per on average with the occasional cash gem. I got a measly 42kp out of HG's so i happy with that, it will all be used on twinks and research anyway.

On a perfect hour at seafuries it's 1900p when 90perc drops gems with 2 people.
Over a 3hour period 3600p is average with 2 people.
On a bad hour it's 300p.

I am talking about clearing the entire island as they pop. Nowadays the island is packed and hard to endlessly chain pull. That cuts down plat per hour a lot.

Anyway the shawl is a very very nice item. It has the most mana outside of raid items and the eru necro insane shoulder. Plane of air shoulder quests are better, but those take a lot of work. When a solo druid or ench can get the shawl once a week.. 30kish Just my opinion maybe it is worth 60k+. Manastone that no longer drops is 40k. The shawl will keep dropping and is 100k?. I do understand it is the last hard piece outside of raids for most int casters to get. That is why it brings such a big price tag.

Remember that 255intel is max. Not 200 like live. So a 3int shoulder is about 50mana + at level 60! Unless you have 255int "which is very possible" or they change it so 200 int/wis is the soft cap.*

It is worth whatever someone will pay/trade for it i guess.

i would buy that shawl too for 50-60k if i had the money.

people who actually tried to get a group going and kill undertow for the shawl will understand what "Kedge BS" is all about.

most of the 'farmers' in lguk can get 10-20k easy per day if they put their minds into camping. Is the shawl worth 3-4 days of hardcore lguk camping effort? sure why not?

if you are a perfectionist and want the very best item that money can buy for your character, i dont see why you should not spend 50-60k for this item if you have 200kpp+ in your bank.

/shrug

value. it's a mysterious thing. if everyone sees and values the world the same way as i do, Classic Everquest monthly subscription fees would be US$80/month and people will still subscribe to play. (and WOW will never exist)
