What's fun is leaning towards a pay for in game enhancements (beyond cosmetics) isn't going to make people who have written the game off say "Oh, maybe I'll try it!"

All they're really doing here is trying to milk the die-hard fans who have hoped the game will improve since the awful launch stay on and make $12.99 a month out of them.

It has also been noted that you can get things like Netflix/Hulu/etc for less cost monthly, as well as things like Xbox live and PS plus for less annually.

I'd say they screwed up pretty good at every opportunity due to greed, and this is no exception.

Sort of worried for any future Fallout and Elder Scrolls titles honestly.

Only if you have some sense that they would have been good. FO hasn't been the same since Interplay and Morrowind might've been the last RPG ES game. People mad that an RPG doesn't play like a melee FPS. If they did the same to EQ it would be EQ Online Adventures.

Expect more and more streamlining. Just another case of two games that began life on PC then were brought over to Toys R' US boxes and consolized.
