What other avenue can they take legally to "attempt" to win and fail?

Impeach him! (Failed the previous times they've announced it.)
Remove the electoral college! (Not happening.)
Smear campaign on all the news networks we own! (It's backfiring)

Can they literally just not win straight up? Is Trump literally that strong you need to run smear campaigns everyday, attempt to remove the electoral college and stirring up impeachment for the past 4 years so you have no opposition?
