Does this mean soon we can create matter from nothing just like in star trek? Then we can just exist to better mankind, I have been waiting for that to happen for a while now!

Why is it people who find these things always suck at naming them. It's on par with celebrity kid names. I mean ffs, chib and beauty is worse than corpuscle before everyone started calling them electrons.

Hopefully everyone just ignores what they called it and starts calling it something that doesn't sound retarded. I just can't take a chib seriously.

Any name that had some etymologic relevance would be fine with me. It doesn't even have to be particularly creative. Chromosome, one of the most important discoveries that led to molecular biology: colored thingy. But it leads to a naming system that's unique and has some meaning attached to it, instead of some random letters that make a word that doesn't mean anything to anyone.
