Default Gnome Necro, stat distribution question

Just wondering if it would be wise to drop 25 points into strength for early and mid game help to carrying equipment, since int items become easy to come by late game.

PS: I don't want to go Iksar.

Intelligence and Stamina will allow you to kill longer.

You get to cast Bind and Gate and you can solo JBoots quest in your early 40s.

No.

Go ahead. You really aren't losing much at all. stamina gives extremely small returns for int casters, though it's the "wise" decision if you are planning to min-max for end game. But given your choice of gnome suggests that's not your intent, so might as well put the points somewhere that will actually make your life a bit easier.

I make sure I have 75 agility and dump everything else into strength (or sometimes even charisma).

I find it helps a lot in the early levels.
