Default ntov rooted dragons

So I haven't seen anything posted in bugs but did p99 decide to not do classic rooting of the dragons?

Lord Feshlak, Kreizenn, Vyemm and Lady Mirinella and Nevederia are the perma rooted dragons.

I've never seen any evidence that they were rooted before Luclin.

Basically confirms it for me.

Now if you wanted to actually emulate a classic ntov environment the funny thing is rooting dragons would go a long way towards it. Albeit with an unclassic change but not as if the devs have shown themselves to be averse to such thinking.

I have not come across any in era evidence to suggest rooting in place.

However... i did find mention from out of era leash testing that ToV had a much shorter leash than 500 units (i think that is what we were told was put in? ). If this would be accepted as evidence, I'm not sure how this would affect "pull to zone" tactics. I don't know how sensitive the leash range is to that, perhaps pulls like we see weren't feasible (at least on some dragons).

Vyemm was definately rooted in lair Pre Vulak Ring event and remained that way, if any of you played on live you wold remember his lair is designed so you have to fight him in the back of his lair to avoid getting your raid launched into the lava pit and due to the sliding the fight becomes way more difficult because CH's get interrupted and you are unable to patch if you are sliding around. There were other dragons that were rooted as well Kreizenn, Feshlak, Nevederia, Mirinella. Fighting these mobs at the zonein or in the back of ToV exploiting the vulak script to tag pull them is rediculous and allows the rampant use of boxing to defeat raid content.
