RnF is go hard or go home. Either present logs/screenshots of the entire event so that there is no question as to who was in the wrong (and even then you have only perhaps a 75% chance of the court of RnF siding with you) or leave it to the professionals (ie. GMs).

While OP is quite possibly in the "right" on this, there is simply not enough evidence to the wispy context presented. Further evidence, logs and screenshots may present a valid case for griefing, but there is nothing you presented that helps us.
