Spreading the wealth would solve the housing crisis as I see it. It's not like everyone just can't wait to move to San Francisco...it is just seen as the smart move for a lot of people trying to get enough money to you know -- own a house and send their kids to college so they might own a house someday etc.



Their parents...This is a problem. The wealth is concentrating in a handful of cities where they hire people for the few remaining good jobs left in this economy. This is what its like in communist societies...you are bound by the area where you are born. If you are born in a shit area you have shit opportunity. If you are born in lets say, Shanghai or Moscow, you have a lot more.

Its un-American. Were supposed to be a meritocracy where the best people -- regardless of birth -- are found and employed. Its getting less that way with our generation because no one has any money or time to get anywhere near their potential. You can't really make anymore money than it takes to support yourself if you're an average person. Even if your above average -- it takes a lot of discipline (maybe an impossible amount) without help from family.

This is why i favor large estate taxes. I don't see an issue with people working to live though. Struggle is an essential component of humanity. Without it we are miserable. It's why we are so eager on the left and right to fabricate it.

I think the focus should be on matching individuals to the work that is best suited to their talents and interests and culturally reward meaningful accomplishment with greater praise, to maximize the benefit people receive from work. i think this is particularly important in a world where real struggle is increasingly rare and as a result peoples' actions and efforts are increasingly meaningless.

SO.. I guess if you failed at life cus you wanted life to be easier, I would understand the desire to make the world, or at least america, a socialist country.

Make no mistake, Juris is not looking out for poor people, he has worked hard for the life that he has lived, but he admits that his own inadiquacies at being an adult, and paying bills, dedicating himself to hard work, perservierance, overcomming challanges, and otherwise "being an adult"

Is not something that comes easy to him. So a white male who just cant seem to "make it" thinks, "If we could make the system easier, which, in my mind it could be, then I wouldnt be such a fuck up! And if IM a fuck up, imagine if you were even WORSE than me, because in my mind, im not lazy, im just overwhelmed with all the bullshit you have to accomplish to build a life in this country!"

So the white male then thinks, "We should make the system so easy that people even worse off than me (thats white male for "even more lazy than I am") will be able to focus on bettering themselves, instead of just trying to keep their head above water."

But what they are not realizing is, they are saying "I dont want to do all these adult things, paying for insurance is annoying and hard, I need that money for weed! Also I dont like working for other people and I cant seem to pull of the right risk/reward structure to make it worth striking out on my own, I think if I was less busy trying to be an adult, or less afraid to lsoe my job working for other people, id be able to take those risks!"

Here is the reality:

You and the people who are worse off than you are all lazy failure adult children that dont deserve help.

That's it! Its earth, if you cant handle it, expect less.

All the things that socialists think make a life full, you don't need money to have. So just go out there and enjoy your life and get over the fact that if someone has better parents than you or work harder than you they can afford a jet ski.
