Tulsi Gabbard is getting a boost from right-wing conservatives online.
Gabbard went from receiving 162,500 mentions across many social platforms measured (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Reddit, Gab, 4Chan) in the first week of October to over 338,000 between Oct. 8 and 15. Comments by Gabbard condemning members of her own party have garnered her lots of attention from far-right figures, which explains some of the increased attention she is receiving on platforms like Reddit, 4chan and Gab. "First of all let, me make this clear: I do not agree with many of the things Tulsi Gabbard stands for or espouses, but I give credit where credit is due," said Fox News host Tomi Lahren.

The way I experience the word 'lynch' just means 'being unfairly admonished by a group of others'. Thats trivial. But for someone to argue "when you said, 'you were being unfairly admonished by a group of others' you were implying 'your persecution is worse than a bunch of mob murdered black men'" then to me it looks like its the second person who is projecting the racism into the first speaker's words. But now its been explained to me that the phrase 'lynch' isn't used as a trivialised figure of speech in the states I can see I lost something 'in translation'.
