i did the V57 patch and extracted and replaced and still get the spells_txt error. need some help

This patch was optional. Has it been awhile since you played and you were multiple patches behind?

yes, i finally got it fixed. i had the folder titled EQ99 and had to extract the file to EverquestProject1999 or something like that and now my toons show up. thank you though.
