i'd imagine so after level 30 when the dmg cap lifts. It's also Woker when you're fighting nasty filthy damage shield mobs.

Cool

you gonna want jade mace in you main hand until dmg cap increase to 28 after L10. Then, addy club in you main hand until late 50s when the elf bonus finally make it surpass the better ratio of the addy club.

IFS> AC/sos?
Once you get into the high 20s / low 30s, yes. You can do 200-300 damage in one round with the IFS, and the weight is really competitive among your other options. It feels lovely when your first combat round takes off over a quarter of the HP on the mobs you're farming past level 5. You're gonna want a solid worn haste item though. You'll hate 40 delay without at least a RBB.

Dual wield before the damage cap is lifted and after you get into your 50s / get your epic.

Sourche: I leveled my monk with AC/SoS & IFS a few years ago.

PS: If I remember correctly, Jade Mace overtakes AC in the high 50s, like around 58-59. AC is superior for most applications, and by the time a jade mace would be better, you'll probably be finishing your epic if you're a contributor in a raiding guild. Someone chime in if I'm totally off on this, it's been years since I tried to figure out the break even level for AC vs JM.

i use ifs. its a gamble though because of the delay. If you have a few good rounds it can be devastating to the mob. You can take out a dark blue really fast. However, if you have a few bad rounds it can be pretty bad. its cool though, i like the gamble. makes the game fun.
