Question Larik Z`Vole not spawning in LFay for Disciple Symbol of Tunare quest.

Quest: "Disciple Symbol of Tunare" http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/q...tml?quest=1253

Questgiver: "Yeolarn Bronzeleaf" http://eqbeastiary.allakhazam.com/search.shtml?id=829

NPC: "Larik Z`Vole" http://eqbeastiary.allakhazam.com/search.shtml?id=6524

Zone: Lesser Faydark

A bit ago I camped the undead obelisk in lesser fay trying to find this guy. He is supposed to only spawn on the lower step during the night. After more than a dozen hours of killing skeletons and mummies every 5 minutes (plus speaking to other druids, one elder level 50) I am confident that he does not spawn. I first suspected this may be a daytime/nighttime spawn issue, however I can confirm that the ghasts were spawning during the time I camped him with no issues. (they spawn only at night too, or are only supposed to.)

Also of note is that killing Larik spawns "a dark elf courier" that runs to the DE camp as the second half of this quest. This part must be scripted, and it is my suspicion that Larik has been left out because the script was not one of the many that were completed.

Can I please get a confirmation that this NPC and his scripted quest are present in LFay? I have even tried triggering his spawn by running to Felwithe and saying "I will slay the necromancer" to Yeolarn Bronzeleaf with no success. This was not necessary when I did the quest on live, but I felt it was worth a shot.

Also, I see on the "Things that dont matter anymore" thread that an original EQ developer commented on day/night time cycles, clarifying that the day lasts 14 hours and the night only 10. Can anyone confirm if our emulator uses this same time convention and what actual hours are considered day/night by it?
