Default Framerate Cap

The frame rate cap recently implemented has caused a tremendous amount of screen tear on my screen. This screen tear did not exist when I got 150-200fps. I would very much like to know if there is a change that can somehow result in getting what you wanted but retain the higher frame rate. The picture was so smooth before. Its a shame its been so marred by this update.

Try turning on V-Sync in your vid card settings. Mine didn't tear before or after the framerate change.

If they had over 100fps before the patch, its very likely they already had a global vsync set to on.

In my case, I did. Post-patch, the framerate has tanked, when turning or mouselooking. Nothing I have tried, after hours, has solved it.
