Wealthy elites largely don’t pay any taxes at all while they preach to us middle and lower class people how it’s our duty to support social programs.

Just because they're doing it wrong doesn't mean it isn't our duty to support social programs. They just need a functional administration to properly tax them. Not going to happen when the President himself is a tax dodger.
