There might be a divine power but I'd be more worried about false gods (a supreme technological power), a civilization somewhere out there in space that has survived for a billion years would probably have technology to sure make them look like gods. Ask yourself the question. How many dimensions are you confined to in this material reality? Ask any physicist, how many dimensions exist side by side with us.

We live in a 3d world but with a 4th dimension of time. String theory says reality consists of a number of intersecting strings, some make up material reality, some are impossible for our human senses to perceive.

The idea that there aren't things happening all around us when we are so limited to what we can perceive is the height of human arrogance.

There are 6 other spatial dimensions that we cannot perceive. This is physics. There are more dimensions we can't perceive than can perceive and you are so sure you are aware of everything around you at this very moment?
