Commander Leuz's Task - Kromzek Spawns

So, tonight was my first time participating in a Scout roll on P99. On Live, I had done the Kromzek Captain pull several times in era, so I was a little surprised to see the giants spawn in a tight formation the way they did here.

I looked for past bug reports on this and found the following, all with the research that said that these should be harmony-able and the Captain is a single pull:

These are all correct, the Kromzek Captain was a single pull by harmonying the giants as I had personally done on Live for this quest. The issue is, as Daldaen points out in the last link, the formation is not classic.

The giants spawned in a line abreast, with the Captain in the middle. Not in a bunch the way they are now. Aggro range was less than spell range on harmony, so this was a trivial pull. If you wanted to be completely safe, you started harmonying at one end of the line of giants and they were spaced out enough where you probably got 2-3 giants per harmony.

So the problem is proving my anecdotal evidence, because none of the posts on Allakhazam mention the formation, only that giants spawn, the Captain is in the middle, and it's a simple harmony pull. Until I saw Rygar's post that linked to a Monkly Business quest description that corroborates my memory of the pull:

The pull:

The giants will be in a line along the beach with the captain off to the side of the line. Have a druid or ranger Harmonize each giant from Right to left and then harmonize the captain himself last. Then pull the captain and he should be solo. When I am there and the druid/ranger is inexperienced in the pull I will have them harmonize and then pull myself since if the harmony got messed up I can always FD and have the druid recast instead of having a dead druid.

This is how I remember doing the pull on Xegony, and is why the current formation on P99 is un-classic and not a solo pull with Harmony.

Anecdotally,

You could single pull the captain without any harmony at 60. I did this many a time during vel and luclin.

What faction were you?

I was KOS to giants... I remember if I got too close to Captain trying to Harmony, they would all come. I may have been sub-60 though at that time, that's the part I can't remember.

Cov. was just an arrow or jav from directly infront for a single pull for years.
