That's a lot of mana for a shoulder slot, and the effect is pretty damn nice (not sure how many items in classic have that?). That being said 100k is laughable, but a few k isn't extremely far-fetched. Would be a SUPER sick Necro piece.

Not this item either. Most items had Focus effects added in later. Pretty sure this one is no exception.

Actually, if you're an Erud necro, no they aren't. See: Mantle of Souls.

Also, just because an item is rarely for sale doesn't mean it is worth a lot. I have seen just as many Abalone Gorgets for sale in two and a half months as I have Squallsurges, that being two of each. Both are BiS preplanar, and both take the same difficulty to acquire, yet the Abalone is 6-7k. Hmmmm...

Conclusion: 100k ? Drop an order of magnitude.
