Do identical DoTs stack on npcs on p99?
Just a question out of curiosity. Because it took SoE a patch long after Velious launch to allow necromancer dots to have multiple versions stack on npcs. This was massively detrimental to any DPS we might have been able to provide during long-term raid bosses if several necros were present (as was usually the case).
Basically, for the longest time - and without most of us knowing - we were getting kicked in the nuts.

I believe two identical dots from 2 players do stack.
Them not stacking was classical classic.

On P99 they don't stack, which is correct.
Ask any epic Druid, shaman, or Vexing using Necro. They'll all tell you that they've had their DoTs worn off after 2 ticks because another player cast theirs.

Also, for SK, get used to get your darkness overwritten by most forms of snare, and all your dot overwritten if you have a necro in your group...

As a longterm necro main on live (April 2001, my first toon) I can confirm necros were basically useless as raid dps until this was patched way after Velious. Sad but true

Is there a way to determine what stacks? Like take shaman and necro, what of their dot lines can stack
