Ive often wondered how many are active from Brell too. Back in the day I was Chinto, red headed human druid of (The Burning Shield) and later (Elysian). Later on in EQ life I morphed into Faulkner, half elf rogue of (Watchers).

The player list seems a little out dated. Would love to hear from Ex Brell players though.

I am from Brell. Main on Brell was Ozznusyen, Erudite Necro. Started during Kunark, retired around the release of OoW.

Yeah but does anybody actually read or update that thread anymore? It hasn't been active in months. There may be more lurkers out there. Who knows?

I played on Brell from the opening of the server until about 6 months after Velious. I was a slow starter, the idea of having a new place to start from scratch sounded fun to me. Had a Wood Elven Warrior named Dantes, and now here on P99 I'm just about the same - except a DE this time. Dunno what it is about unconventional Warrior races but I seem to be stuck on them.

I had my own guild for quite a while, ValorBlade. We were a roleplayer guild and did a lot of dueling, guildwars and general non-uber fun. Eventually I decided that I did want to check out some uber content so I ended up joining The Burning Shield so I could do more raiding, the same guild Chinto was in. (And now we're both in the same guild again, woohoo Vesica Dei!)

It would be cool to see more folks from Brell on here, but my memory is so shot from it being 10 years ago that I don't even know how many folks names I would recognize... lol!

Logged first character in August of 99.

Erudite Wizard named Kwazar.

Wanted a pet class so started Erudite Enchanter named Squalor (name was chosen do to the horrendous effort it took to make any money in Toxx those days.)

Later I started a Barbarian Shaman named Magnon. He became my main which I played off and on untill GoD...or OoW cannot remember which came later.

Never in any major guilds, mostly duo'd with a Mage friend.

Later Squalor was deleted and I rolled a High Elf Chanter named Cendywen.

Current characters in p1999:

Squalor Myndetease Erudite Enchanter (had to give him another chance)

Magnon Wolfkin Barbarian Shaman (always one of my favorites)

Cendywen High Elf Mage (never played one....had to try it)

I miss the early days and frankly am loving this server.
