How many cases are in the states now? I live in Japan and supermarkers are same as always. Just the face masks are sold out everywhere.

Japanese public schools are closed starting Monday, but it's not as serious as it sounds since there are only like 2 more weeks left in the Japanese school year anyway. People are shying away from large gatherings, but mostly daily life is the same as always.

Well we have the double dip as Corona Virus quarantine prepping vies against the annual ‘brexit deadline’ prepping (this year rebranded to ‘end of transition period’ deadline).

Clearly all scare mongering by ‘big tin’ (smashes ‘invest’ button).

They did some coverage on bbc radio 4. San Fran declared state of emergency, not because of any confirmed cases, but because it is a gateway city to China and corona/flu/cold pandemics can be effectively mitigated (i won’t say prevented) through awareness and precautionary measures.

It could be described as scaremongering, but if that reduces negative health outcomes and potentially reduces negative economic outcomes in the mid to long turn then perhaps that is justified.
