Lost the labels on spells and inventory items

I lost the little labels you get over spells and inventory items. I can get them if I hit Alt, but not when I hover over the item. Someone said that it fixes itself if you restart EQ, but not for me. A difference may be that I run EQ in a WINE container on a Mac. Is there a setting for this that I have inadvertently triggered?

For some reason, it being negative stops item hover text from working. If you reboot it resets the counter and item hovers should reappear. Alternatively, wait another 24.86 days and it'll fix itself.
