tldr work horse ok if ur a large horse with powerful hindquarters capable of lifting copious amounts of cash. but grinding 80hrs/wk on salary when you have no family depending on your is ? The quality of life difference between a 50-60k and a 80-90k just isn't all that enticing to me.

I know guys commuting 2 hours up 2 hours back...they have a family, but this one guy doesn't. He has been married 7 yrs with no kids yet. we are worried hes going to come to one of our lawns and blow his brains out since

1) no reason to grind that hard to the point your life is 100% work related if you dont have a family to support

2) marriage is for children, and he got married and has 0 children

I said to install CCTV camera and do a 24h recording of the driveway area in case he tries anything.

edit: not kidding. CCTV is going to happen as a real precaution against this work horse trying to put itself to pasture
