I searched around but can't find a solution that works for the GUI XML files error.

I have the Duxa installer so I thought I was doing it correctly...perhaps not. I am still getting the "Error in your GUI SML files. Check UIError.txt" and when I look for the file, it is nowhere to be found. I search for it and it comes up empty. Any suggestions?

Alright well I seemed to have fixed that. I have come across this error now...

"The instruction at 0x033a195e referenced memory at 0xfffffffc. The memory could not be read"

I have no idea what this one means. I googled it, yet found nothing helpful.

Normally it means the video mode isn't set right in the eqclient.ini file. Try setting it to 800x600 for all modes and then reset it in game. Or run the Optionseditor.exe file in your Everquest folder and set the resolution to the most basic and run the game.
