Dex "Cutoffs" and Proc Frequency
I read an article a few weeks ago but now I can't find it again. It was basically talking about there being certain 'cutoffs' for dexterity that, once achieved, procing became much more frequent. I believe it was something like 105-115 and 205, or something.
Anyone know what I'm talking about or have a link to the thread I'm thinking about? Other thoughts? | ||

It should be a linear increase, no cutoffs.

Should it? I am sure I read on Steel Warrior or the shaman forum that proc rate improved in steps for every fifty (or was it 100?) dex accumulated starting at 105. Too sleepy to try find a source though.

Proc rate is also tied pretty rigorously to an unseen value on each weapon

I tried looking for that thread again, and still couldn't find it. Most threads seem to agree with the 'linear' dex/proc rate theory as opposed to the 'cutoff' theory, So I guess we'll have to go with that.
