The Red 99 PvP Blog
Myself and my duo partner Hijinx, a couple of the best of the best, have been keeping track of our PvP on Red 99 since launch. This was anticipated to be the last great gathering of EQ PvP'ers in one spot. We came here looking for the best competition in the world in this game, hoping to fight people who had refined their skill over the last decade while we played other flavor of the month mmo's. We have been disappointed by the competition, their reliance on crutch cheat programs like MQ, their inability to organize or stay motivated to compete.
But a new dawn has risen, a Red Dawn, and with it brings a renew'd vigor to the Red 99 pvp scene. Since competition has re-emerged on Red99, the server has been thriving. Fights take place daily over Sebilis, KC, and weekly over planes, Gods, and dragons. We have taken it upon ourselves to chronicle these events, to encourage competition, to display how exciting the server is, to embarrass quitters, to be hunted. The launch of the PvP blog has been quite successful, and now it's ready for it's own thread. This thread is for ideas, feedback, for victims to tell their own story of what happened in the screenshots that feature them. The blog is updated multiple times weekly, with all the latest Nihilum vs Red Dawn fights as well as a thorough telling of our server's history. Forgot to cover that your guys burned 3 trak tooths on me and had me once, meanwhile i had Oddjob, Ender, and some other bluebie dead by my feet at mighty lvl 54, ain't even mad tho, keep doing the updates, i need something to do/read at work
