For warrior?
Honestly I prefer rune weapons solo. Especially without regen tunics. I seem to be in the minority - most wars choose dps weapons to cut the fight shorter and self heal the remaining hp. Skean is handy for a self found though. The duration stun lets you get a few hits in the back, eliminating dodges and the like. For a rogue it may be handy for increasing backstab opportunities without relying on ghoststep/sidewayslide or waiting for the mob to cast.

I've seen a Ranger use one to decent effect. Lotsa procs. This was a long time ago and just a one off situation, but anecdotally it made a Ranger a better tank. It's worth playing around with though if someone can get a rotting one for free.

Rogue. Rogues suck solo, but I wonder if with poisons + this if it helps. I know the Tstaff is a beast on monks but they are much better soloers and Tstaff is unresistable.
I guess the proc rate & resistable vs unresistable gap is the real question.

A soloing level >45 rogue would be fighting low boues at best, right? In that context this would be next to unresistable. Being secondary it would be expected to fire at half rate of tstaff.
