Everquest All Mixed Up (custom content idea)

What if p99 or even daybreak launched a server that was a parallel universe of Norrath? So all of the factions and loot tables would be mixed up?
That way we bring back the excitement of the the unknown again in EQ!

Now I know some servers like shards of dalaya and hidden forest kinda did this...
but im saying keep much more of the core game and only changing loot tables and how different races and factions might be allied.

An example would be that maybe ogres and trolls have a fierce hatred for one another on this server,
trolls ally with iksar because the reptilian iksar know how to eliminate the frogs of guk, half elves are the new race the world hates and start only in Kelethin with Wood Elves moving to Felwithe.
Emperor Crush no longer drops Dwarven Ringmail tunic but instead a Frozen Longsword.
All items and named mobs would still remain in the game but they just might not drop from the same people or be in the same places.
These are just a few examples of the types of changes we could expect to see.

I think it would be a blast trying to find which mob now drops the fungi tunic!
And relying on the community again as we all explore Norrath with a fresh face all over again.

Now obviously p99 wants to do things classic and I 100% get and support that decision
but maybe this could be a fun future custom content server?

Wouldn't something like this actually feel classic? Part of the joy of eq for me was feeling like there was this huge world with so much mystery!
I remember looking for nameds or fat loot in zones like butcher block and swamp of no hope just because I didn't know any better.

it would be a good mix up for sure.

I also thought it would be funny to have the whole world in reverse. so everything that is usually to the right, is now to the left.

If this happened at least the boat in OOT would go to Freeport > BB in the correct direction.

Edit: Well I guess not if everything else was flipped too. I am not a smart man.

I think moving fungi tunic on to the sleeper sounds like an excellent idea.

Dwarves and Gnomes start in Thurgadin. Elves and humans are hiding in Crystal Caverns etc. Faydwer is the new Velious with Crushbone being 55+ as well as Mistmoore and Unrest. Sirens Grotto is a teen level zone. I could go on this would be fun.

A dwarf only quest to become coldain would be pretty cool.
