Default What a difference... a good start?

Hello all

When i was a very young boy, i would sometimes get to stay at my grandparents, my uncle which was about thirty years old at the time, had some diagnoses so he was living at them, i got to try everquest, and this world and the internet was like the biggest thing for me for me, i remember one time being there staying up for like 27 hours just to play as much as i could... Back then i was just running around exploring and begging players for food, i had no real idea to play, but i really did enjoy the world and it was load of fun.

Time passed and eventually my uncle decided to take his own life. But i got good memories from playing Everquest with him.

I tried the TLP servers on Everquest live, and while it does bring back some nostalgia, it doesent match P1999, it should not be that much different, but its amazing how much it brought me back.

So basicly i never got to play Everquest much. Is the release of Green server not a perfect place to start? I can't play a lot due to family and work, but i really enjoy spending hours grouping with people.

I was suprised to see on blue servers, a server which been up for long, people running around in starter cities still.. Going to EQ live its ghost towns..

Thumbs up to the team behind this, and the community keeping it a pleasent place to be

There has literally never been a better time to be a fan of classic EverQuest. Blue has been fantastic but due to how long it’s been going doesn’t play much like EverQuest at launch. The recycling or “seasonal” aspect of Green is the single most exciting part of this whole process. Starting fresh is gonna be awesome.

Welcome to P99.

A sad and touching story

About your restart:
I must say a good choice.
Me came back last year after more then 15 years of abstinence from EQ and was it was a great experience, specially due the nice community here.

You chose the best start i suppose.
Starting all over with the original Everquest feeling will probably not happen so soon again.

Green ftw !
