Done it twice as an enchanter and an SK, worked perfectly.

This is a good one to do. A lot won't know the quest and vendor the quest items. Check newb vendors for quest items to get a cheap xp boost!

That is one thing I am doing different on green than on live. I am going to do all kinds of quests that I didnt know about back in 99. And explore different zones. Already took my woodelf at lvl 2 to butcherblock for a change of scenery. refreshing
problem with this is the time it takes to travel back after you die.

Eh not bad really. I just stay in Butcher and kill skeletons. Can get to 9-12 pretty easy with many stacks and good to work on smithing and baking there too.

Speaking of Neriak. Havn't done any quests but noticed the starting spawn point is wrong for new DE chars. It was deep back in 3rd gate by the water. Not in commons by the priest of discord.

He is saying that the location you are currently at, in front of the Priest of Discord in Neriak Commons, is incorrect and Dark Elves are supposed to start in 3rd gate.

I myself, do not remember ever starting in the 3rd Gate.
