Assuming MR is working half as intended, and with noone running around with any real MR, Clerics should be able to wreak havoc in solo pvp with no issues. Add to that your survivability and laughing off 1vs1 nukes... Divine Aura for the suckers who will blow a third of their mana into it... you should have a great time IMO.

Not really. Clerics should have a high survivability indeed, but in classic it was tough to win a 1vs1 WHILE UNTWINKED (!). Cleric nukes were very expensive in terms of mana cost and much worse than mage, wiz and necro nukes (for obvious reasons). You had a hard time to kill another player before running out of mana - at least with the standard mana pool.

Haven't tried a cleric on P99 though. But spell dmg/mana cost and low melee dam output should be classic, so I guess it's the same here.

Don't clerics get bash as well? or was that a VZTZ thing?

If you are a cleric trying to kill someone with nukes you are wasting alot of mana. You are better off meleeing ppl down and just healing yourself. Clerics are one of the best pvp classes for grp pvp. If you have a clr and enc all you need in dps and you win for the most part.
