I don't personally mind names that are taken from shows or movies as long as it COULD be believable as a fantasy name (Fiddycent for instance, is not)

But I agree with an above poster, the "portsem, nukesum, stabbem" names are the worst and imo even trumps the "Kardashiann, Hipsturr, Optimuss" names in terms of immersion breaking.

How do you feel about names derived from rap groups, pharmaceuticals or ethnic colloquialisms?

If it's funny I don't mind it as much.

There is nothing redeeming about class-related names.

If i see another bard "music/sound" related name i'll lose my mind

beatz
tunez/toonz

etc - why do they also all have a z at the end??? These are all recent names I've seen

Perhaps in light of the subject of this thread, they will approve the surname Snow?

Mezican Snow has a nice ring to it no?
