Elderly folks today's yearly salary payed for 50% of a home, while now it pays for 10%

Meanwhile insurance costs in 1970 were 300 per person while today they are $11,000 (lol that shocks me)

Now, part of the reason of those high costs is medicare (not that I am against healtcare im just stating a major drain) why is that a drain though? Becasue of the folks from 1970, getting it for free.

And who is paying for that? The millennials, that have to pay 1000% of their income to pay for their homes 10% of their income for their own insurance.

Medicare prescriptions, welfare, unemployment... It's finite, it isn't meant to be used forever. I understand where your feelings are coming from on this.
