It's more interesting because it's true. The present political climate has very little space for "live and let live." Increasingly each side seeks to dehumanize their "enemies" and barely even see each other as fellow countrymen anymore. I have to think it's what living in the U.S. circa 1850 must've felt like--nobody's shooting, yet, but everyone can see storm clouds gathering.

The Scene in the Expanse were Alex goes to mars and hangs out in his favorite cowboy bar, there should be a safe space for those ppl where they can feel safe from people like Avrisala who clearly outclass them in every way.

Otherwise, I think banning stuff is stupid, and banning people who don't fit into a conservative world view from getting the same stuff the conservatives want and get is dumb. A lot of people in this world just are trapped in egocentric death spirals with no way to appreciate other peoples differences and uniquenesses.

Pretty much. At least, they're both calling it as they see it, although sitting on the sidelines it appears there's precious little tolerance for opposing views of late.
