I'd be OK if it only cost like $500 fine or tax to kill a person

especially if it was the inverse of their net worth, poor people cost more to kill while rich people are low bounty points (because they are boring and no one cares about them)

(moderate to slight /s)

Trust beneficiaries pay taxes on income that they receive from the trust, but not on returned principal. When trust beneficiaries receive distributions from the trust's principal balance, they do not have to pay taxes on the distribution

So you're saying TurboTax fucked up? She inherited a piece of land that's in the middle of nowhere; not worth diddly to any type of developer. However the mineral rights are worth a fair amount. According to TT she needed to send in a big chunk of cash to cover capital gains.

TY for the heads up. I'll tell her to go bug either a CPA or tax attorney.
bazinga lmao

Not with that attitude. Working people can get to double digits, but Biden will take it away while he lets corporations walk because they pay for his and his constituents in Congress political campaigns.

I have. My accountant upped my taxes to the 28%. I guess its easier to pay more and get a check back then to pay less and have to write a check at the end.
