Default Rogue Backstab Primary Weapon

Curious if anyone has worked out the math for comparing a higher damage primary vs a better ratio primary.

For example:

Glowing Iron Pike: 9/36
Jambiya: 7/26

I'm going to guess that the Glowing Iron Pike does more overall damage due to bigger backstabs (at least at some point), but I'm curious if anyone has put any thought or crunched any numbers to work out how to compare two weapons when factoring in backstabs?

That’ll be more complicated math than I have done regarding this. However, another point to consider is that fewer swings = less aggro, whether they hit or not. Maybe you would do slightly less damage overall with the pike, but if it’s a lot less aggro, that may be worth it. Of course, if it’s a lot less damage and only a little less aggro, it wouldn’t be worth it. I hope this provides food for thought. Good luck in your decisions. Perhaps parsing it will be the ultimate test.

That's a level of min-maxing that will lead to insanity.

I'd go for the Pike purely from a class-enjoyment perspective! I wanna see them high-damage Backstabs!
